Overall, our stay was wonderful, especially in terms to beach access, with a path right beside our rental home, and in the neighborhood, with its quiet streets and beautiful, plentiful trees and other foliage.

The location was ideal. Two blocks from the beach.
We had a good time, achieving our goal for this trip, relaxation, long walks and and book reading.. Our two dogs were happy. Thank you!

This house we rented was exactly as advertised. It worked out perfect. It was clean , everything worked fine good a/c. We brought our well behaved Labrador which was nice for us. The Location is just great. Beautiful street, quiet, short walk to the beach right out the back door. Kitchen was fine for us. Overall excellent value.

Good week. The house is in a great location for us!

Location is amazing. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Home is a little older, but everything worked, it was clean and it looks like it's been recently updated. Lots of space and it had plenty of cooking utensils, which meant we didn't have to dine out.
Because the house was so close to the ocean, we found that we went to the beach 3 or 4 times a day. I would grab a cup of coffee, and enjoy it on the beach. We had daily picnics at the beach..the location really made a big difference.
The management company was a pleasure to deal with...especially Merle, who answered a barrage of emails from me and my wife before we got to the island.
This home is an amazing deal for it's size and location. We will book it again for our next trip to Hilton Head.

The property was perfect for bringing our group together.

Welcoming home, clean, and better than expected. Great location to the beach, South Beach Marina and Harbor Town. We enjoyed our stay and would return!

A nice, quiet location with little traffic and close to South Beach.

Wonderful vacation location. Everything you need close to beach and South Beach Marina. This home is spacious with a nice large great room for gathering. The bedrooms are also large, good for accommodating multiple families. However, only 2 bathrooms create a little inconvenience. (the master bathroom shares the only first-floor bathroom, three upstairs bathrooms share 1 small bath). The kitchen is closed off compared to more modern open layouts, but it is large enough and has good appliances. The kitchen opens nicely to the back deck (If the sliding door was fixed). Over-all, a nice home. I would recommend this to anyone looking for excellent beach access that does not need the most up to date accommodations.

Great location. The house could use a deep clean, but otherwise it was great.

It was a great vacation

Always a pleasure to be in Sea Pines! Golfing, biking, pickle ball, walks by the beach and more!!

We had a terrific time at 47 South Beach. The house is nice but in need of some maintenance. The AC worked great. The outdoor shower is located with the trash cans so it didn't get used at all. The location is great right next to the beach path. We finally found the south beach pool its in he parking lot of the Salty dog. Once we found it we spent a lot of time at the pool. the house was clean and stocked with all the stuff we needed. Overall a great place!

Great location with a very short stroll to the beach and a short walk or bike ride to South Beach. The house, while comfortable, is quite dated and in need of some minor repairs, major updating, and a deep cleaning.

The house was on the beach path, and was very convenient to the beach. The issues were the cleanliness (marks on walls, stains in tub and toilet, pet hair on couch) and the fact that it was old and in need of updates. Also several things that would typically be found in a beach rental, particularly in Sea Pines, weren't beach towels, no hairdryers, etc. However, the price was really good (and that alone is the reason you can't really complain) and as I said the location was fantastic. Overall I'd give it a B- review.

We liked the location and would rent the home again. The home was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay.

Bathrooms and Kitchen needed updating with new appliances and fixtures. Plenty of room and close to the beach; walking distance 2 min.

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay here. The location was great. We would return to this property. The house was clean enough, though not spotless. There was dried food left on some of the plates, linens in both the washer and dryer when we arrived, and one of the showers had toiletries left in it from a previous guest, so I wondered how well it was cleaned, but this was nothing we couldn't handle ourselves. If this is an ongoing problem, the owner may need to talk with the housekeeper, and I recommend the owner replace the glass coffee table since the glass top seemed wobbly and could be easily broken. On the bright side, this is the first time I've ever stayed anywhere on HHI and not seen a roach the entire time. Overall, everything worked out well, and we didn't feel like we needed to address the minor issues we had. The owners did answer a couple of my questions prior to our trip in a prompt matter.

Most efficient check-in ever. Bikes were waiting for us. An older home that could use some updating. However the price was right. The house was very clean, the kitchen well-equipped, the beds were great. Right on the beach path, and a short 5-minute walk to the beach. The deck furniture is tired, but we didn't really use the deck. All in all, a great time here.

We have stayed here in the past and were not disappointed again this year. The location is the closest we have found to the beach that is dog friendly and has ample space to accommodate a family. I have allergies to certain pets and this location did not cause me any issues. We love it!

Great location with great potential. Important: its dated and needs some investment in kitchen and bathrooms
- Christopher H. from Potomac, Posted: 08/29/2016
This property is literally a 5 min walk to the beach and it is in Sea Pines resort so less people (at least compared to other areas of the island). Plenty of room in the home to gather or go have some quiet time.
The deck is a bit small but we did not use that much. Would definitely rent again!!
Property was a bit short on the essentials like toilet paper, paper towels and dish detergent.

Lovely home. Just a 3 min walk away from the beach. Very spacious! Definitely will visit again and i advise anyone who could see this comment that this is a win win situation!

Loved the location of the house to the beach. The house was a little worn, but the space fit the needs of two families of four.
- Shawn H. from Atlanta, Posted: 07/13/2016
The house served our family very well. It was close to the beach, clean, and had plenty of room. It could use some updating, but it was a great house for its price point.

This older home is a perfect location for a quiet beach getaway. Short walk to a beautiful beach or to the Salty Dog Café. It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog with us. The area around the home is very pet friendly with great places to take walks.
We must have been one of the first to rent in a while. The home was generally clean. I would have like to see the following:
1. Deck and furniture was filthy.
2. The extra linens and blankets in the closets were covered in dust.
3. The dresser drawers were dirty and had dead spiders in them.
Otherwise, I would recommend this to anyone looking for some peace and quiet, especially if they plan to bring their dog with them.

We are a close family of 6! Hilton Head has always been our dream summer vacation. My third child, who is an incoming junior at Wake Forest, decided to get a job at a Marina in Hilton Head! We finished off the summer to bring her back home!! We are not disappointed!! The accommodations and weather couldn’t have been more perfect!!
I will discard the jelly fish-mother natured! And the lack of a blender!! But!! We will be back!! Always a dream vacation!!

We had a wonderful time on our vacation. The house was close to the beach and it was fun riding on the rented bikes. We felt it was safe and that our teenagers could easily go anywhere on their bikes.
- Anonymous from Wayne, Posted: 09/10/2018
The house is wonderfully located on a quiet street with a 300 yard walk to a lovely area of the beach. The house itself is very tired. A complete retooling is in order and would make the house a candidate for higher rent.

We have enjoyed our stay at 47 SB Lane. Convenient location not far from SBRC tennis club and Salty Dog area, within easy walking distance to ocean and right near all bike paths. Lots of room for family visits. The house has a pleasant, sunlit and open interior with secluded deck.
