Shopping on Hilton Head has become a favorite pastime for many of our visitors. A variety of shops are located "on island" as well as "just across the bridge."
Located just off of the Coligny traffic circle between North and South Forest Beach is the "Coligny Plaza by the Sea" Hilton Head Island's original shopping plaza. Coligny Plaza offers over 60 stores including clothing, souvenir, jewelry, shell shops, an art café and more than 20 restaurants. Complimentary live entertainment is offered during the summer and other peak times of the year. Don't forget to include a visit to the duck pond where you can sit enjoy the lovely setting and feed the ducks.
From the Sea Pines traffic circle turn left at the 2nd light on Highway 278 West. (mile marker 10.5) The Village at Wexford offers a variety of unique shopping, dining, spa & hair salons.
Located on Highway 278 between Shipyard Plantation and Palmetto Dunes is the Fresh Market Shoppes. These shops include fashion & accessories, restaurants, sporting goods & apparel, shoes and their signature shop, The Fresh Market, a specialty grocery store.
Hilton Head Island's new Shelter Cove Town Center, in the place of the old shopping mall, is home to Belk's and Kroger in addition to a large variety of unique shopping venues, an assortment of casual and fine dining experiences as well as the Shelter Cove Park offering beautiful views of the marsh and Broad Creek.
Situated on the corner of Highway 278 and Mathews Drive is the newly updated Sea Turtle Marketplace. This group of shops includes a massage spa, dining, Petsmart, and a variety of specialty shops.
Located off island just across the Intracoastal Waterway are the Tanger Outlet shops, Hilton Head Island's collection of outlet stores including Tommy Bahama, Off Saks, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Liz Claiborne, Ralph Lauren, Harry and David, Brooks Brothers and many, many more!
