This condo is large with a great patio. Beds are comfortable. They allow large dogs which is key for us, but you would never know dogs stay there as it's clean and no dog smell. There are a few things that could use updates, TV's are small, frying pans are all scratched, but it did not affect our vacation negatively in any way. I had my own condo in HHI for 8 years but I like this one better because it's a quiet spot with not a lot of foot traffic or golf carts

We have stayed here several times. It is just a few minutes bike ride to the beach. The nearby lake is beautiful and exotic birds in the yard.

Deep cleaning is needed. We like to walk in the late evening and didn’t like the fact that there were no lights anywhere so it was complete darkness, paths were not lite. It was about a 25 minute walk to beach and 5 minutes to pool. Overall a decent place.

Everything was simple. Sea turtle getaway sent us out check in packet. They were easy to communicate with. 240 Evian was clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay. Would book again.

We are retired and stay in Evian for two months every winter.
We have gone thru a few agencies, but Sea Turtles Getaway is by far the best. Our villa is always clean and ready, and the personnel is friendly and responsive. We have used Sea Turtles for four years and will definitely stay with them!!!

A great location, in walking distance of the pool, a 5 minute bike ride to the beach, easy access to Coligny plaza and the central island, Shelter cove and the mall. Would have given house 5 stars but dryer doesn't dry very well and ceiling fans have only 1 low speed and no lights. The house was listed for 8 people but no sheets were provided for the pull out couch. Recommended stay here if you have a dog as overall the house is comfortable and has everything you need.

We traveled with 4 kids and enjoyed this Evian property. We've stayed in Evian before and love the area. This had plenty of room for each of the kids to have their own bed and plenty of space for all of us. Kitchen was well stocked with all utensils we needed to cook breakfast and dinner each night. Beach is easily within walking distance although we rode bikes or drove due to all the stuff we carted with us for the beach. Bike riding within Shipyard is fantastic and easy to get to Coligny Square. Nice little patio out back overlooking the golf course. Would recommend this unit and look forward to staying there again sometime soon.

While we arrived on the same day as hurricane Hermine, we enjoyed great weather the rest of the long weekend. There was no clean-up of debris in Evian, while the rest of Shipyard had bike trails and roads cleared by the next day. Trees were down, limbs, etc all over Evian. Unsure why clean-up wasn't done there, but bike paths were unsafe. The condo is well located, close to the beach access and centrally located within Shipyard. We loved the view of the lagoon and golf tees from the 2nd floor master bedroom. Enjoyed the festive lights on the patio. Each bedroom felt private and quiet from other activity within the unit. Parking was ample. Decor/furniture was dated and 'used', but ok. I would recommend it to friends traveling with pets who are looking for great location at reasonable cost. We didn't have time to use the pool or tennis courts.
Issues: AC didn't work the first night, but was repaired the next day when we reported it. Dead cockroaches and ants behind the TV cabinet, bathroom doors, behind other furniture. So we were careful to clean the kitchen counters, eating utensils, cooking pans before using. Towels and sheets are very thin like cheap hotel quality. Kitchen supplies could use a handheld electric mixer. Had trouble getting the downstairs TV to display cable, but worked fine in all bedrooms. Would suggest a door mat at each backdoor as debris is easily tracked inside to carpet.

This townhouse was sufficiently big enough for the seven of us who gathered to enjoy the Hilton Head experience. I will say that my mom and I were impressed with the fact that the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare a family meal as you would at home. We were so excited to be together (relatives came from both NC and GA) that some of the little things didn't matter. We had to move our cars for some paving work that was scheduled during our stay. Having the lake behind us was awesome. However, being a first-timer to Hilton Head; I was unaware of the alligator warnings! My brother said he saw a baby alligator going toward the water from the bushes while he was on the patio. So, if you are visiting with very young children; you should be aware.

The villa was in a beautiful setting. Saw alligators in the lagoon behind the house a couple times, but they never came into the yard. Blue Heron and other exotic birds frequently in the yard. The lake in the center of Evian is lovely.
We especially like the sunshine coming into the living/dining room and kitchen.
We have returned to Evian for decades and are never disappointed, This unit is very nice. It was clean had everything we needed for a two month stay.
The personnel at Sea Turtles were professional and responsive. We had no problems with the unit. Will look forward to renting from them again.

This townhouse is perfect! It has lots of room, nicely decorated and all the amenities and kitchen items you could need away from home!
My husband and I hosted his parents and our daughter and her husband for a week long family vacation. It was wonderful!
The townhouse was spacious enough for all of us to have privacy and comfortable and cozy enough for meals together, movies and game time!
Would definitely recommend!
Not only is the townhouse wonderful, but the community and grounds are well kept and the unit is close to the beach and the pool!

This is in an excellent location; quiet, perfect for walking, close to beach and Coligny plaza. Plenty of interior room and also quiet.
Located on a pond, nice to view the wildlife including golfers��.
Nicely furnished too! Plenty of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. Overall, a great place to stay! SeaTurtle management always helpful and accommodating.

On the plus side the area is quiet. Very nice walking paths and pet friendly.
Now for the negative. The condo is in Desperate need of an Update. When you turn the heat on the downstairs is comfy, upstairs Stifling. Two very thin bath towels are provided. When I did laundry, the dryer took 3 hours to dry. Tub in the master bedroom does not drain. There are approximately 14 stairs to go upstairs that are SO steep. If someone were to fall they could be seriously hurt. We left a day early. Couldn’t wait to get out!

I am staying for 3 months in a lovely 3 bedroom condo. This unit is especially great for a long stay or with a large family because it is very spacious - more than most other condos.
Renting thru Sea Turtle Getaways ensures me that I will be well taken care of because of their excellent services. Any little issues are quickly dealt with.

The location of the house was perfect for easy access to the beach. It was very comfortable and fit our family of 5 perfectly. The house was well equipped and quiet. It would be nice if there were a full length mirror for the woman. The property is about ready for some updating, but was perfect for us.

This was our first stay in Hilton Head so we don’t have anything on island to compare. Our villa was ready on time even though there were no vacancies left. The cleaning crew didn’t do the most diligent cleaning carpets but I was happy to get and unload. The villa hasn’t been updated in while. Scuff marks on paint, indoor and patio furniture a little older, stove top aged, no lights in ceiling fans, charcoal grill, no plastic spoons for cooking, no blender and lacking any storage containers, lack of dish sponge and basis cleaning supplies. Their were some bugs as advertised in literature but they were dead or dying. Good vacuuming on a rain day, blender and food storage containers dropped off, purchase of dish sponge and additional garbage bags definitely improved experience. The wifi worked well the TVs were adequate but did not have ESPN in package, master bed was a little hard, A/C worked great, ice machine was efficient, stairs to second floor will give you a decent work out. Location was great for not being on beachfront. We were able to ride bikes to Shipyard beach access. The Shipyard beach parking is very limited get there early or you are better off leaving vehicles at Villa. Collapsible wagon was great pickup before left. There are deer that are always on hole around corner. Plenty of alligators in main ponds to ponder at. The walking/bike paths are excellent way to get exercise and are for the most part all shaded and flat. Garbage and recycling bins are very close.
All and all the 240 Evian wasn’t the most elegant place we have stayed but proximity to beach, dog & budget friendly, with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms was enjoyable experience for first timer.

We loved the layout of this condo and all the windows. It felt sheltered from view though, and the outdoor patio was huge. The location was great in Shipyard, quick walk or bike to the beach. Condo has everything needed ( except we really needed a pair of scissors lol). Management company was very quick to respond to minor issues. If bathrooms were updated I would look into buying this place! Bathrooms are fully functional, just dated.

We really enjoyed our stay in Evian. The location was perfect. We could walk to the beach or some wanted to take the car. We spent lots of time on the patio watching the birds and the alligators . There was a heron nest in the tree behind the condo with 3 babies. The patio was quiet and private . The condo was stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. Very happy that we stayed here.

We had plenty of room for the 8 of us and a 4 paw. Generally a very nice place. Pretty close to the beach - about 3/4 mile walk or bike ride. Loved the new master shower. The great things were the A/C, washer & dryer, and hot water! Loved all the windows. Things they could improve on 1st floor mattress needs to be replaced as you roll to the center! First floor carpeting needs to be replaced or switched to some other non-carpet option. They could use more kitchen items. I think it's time for inventory & new replacement items in this unit. New couches would be good too. Appreciated having 2 coffee carafes. We reported 8 lights out. They came right away and replaced 5. The ceiling fan light issue over the dining room table was never addressed by an electrician while we were there. We were missing 2 pillow cases in the first floor bedroom. Didn't realize it until later the first night. They dropped some off when we reported it that next day. The unit could use a deep cleaning. There was a resident alligator in the back by the water to just be aware of. No real threat since we stayed away. We enjoyed our stay!

Thanks so much for your review!! The owners have plans to do away with the carpet downstairs and purchase new living room furniture this down season! We had someone take a look at the bed and found the box spring was broken, they were able to temporarily repair it until we are able to get a new bed in there! Our electrician has been by to take a look at the dining lights and replaced a relay, all is in working order now! We will make sure to take inventory of the kitchen and restock anything that is missing! We hope to see you again next year.

The unit was specious and good for 4 adults and 2 kids.
Kids enjoyed separate bathroom and cute bedroom with twin beds.
All bedrooms had their own showers. Master upstairs had very hard mattress. We got used to it after couple days.
Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and plates. Laundry room was good addition to the unit.
Beach was close. 10 min with bikes, 20 min walking. This unit is in the center of everything. Pool, tennis very close by.Bike to the city was a breeze. Totally recommend it !
We enjoyed our stay!
Gave 4 stars for Clean Property because unit had fault smell. Since it is pet friendly unit we can't really complain. But seemed that maybe someone before us had untrained puppy. Also just a note - unit has carpet throughout it is not very convenient with dogs after the beach...

Very nice location, well maintained, easy access to everything. House sits in a quiet neighborhood and is situated right on a pond. There are a few large aligators that walk up in the yard so watch your pets and children. There were only 2 negatives about the property. One is the carpet is pretty stained and they house doesnt have many channels on the TV for late night vegging out. No sports channels or kids channels. Kind of a bummer when you want to watch hockey playoffs. Other than that the house is great and rental company was great. Would definitely book again.

Very large townhome with private back porch overlooking lagoon. Great to enjoy morning coffee and evening nightcap. Clean and well maintained. Quick bike ride to beach and shops. Perfect location on Island. Would definitely recommend. Be sure to bring beach towels as only bath towels are supplied.

We had an awesome vacation and was sad to leave 240 Evian. The villa was clean when we arrived and decorated beautifully. It was in a great location and my whole family enjoyed watching the wildlife from the back patio along with the golfers across the lagoon. We named the gator Jethro and he kept his distance as did we. Every dealing I had with Sea Turtle Getaway was extremely quick, efficient and kind. I hope to use them again in the future.

We love this condo! It’s the perfect layout for our family! We’ve stayed here several times and never had any problems. Had to contact management a few times this year and they were very responsive and friendly! The only recommendation for improvement would be to replace the carpet upstairs.

It was a nice Villa, Loved direct entrance from sidewalk! Possibly giving a guide on how to work the TVs would have saved the on call person from coming out & a channel guide for CBS, ABC & NBC would have been helpful.

We were interested in purchasing property in Evian and wanted to stay here to get the flavor of the property. We were not disappointed . Unit 240 is very large and has all necessary amenities to help with a great trip. 15 minute treed walk to the beach . We could hear the waves while sitting on quiet back patio.

Condo was nice. Bathrooms were really tiny. Cleanliness was lacking a bit in the bathrooms, ceiling fans, furniture, and vents. There did appear to be a pet odor in the condo upon check-in, our dog is fully trained and he definitely was as able to sniff out the remnants of the prior furry friends. Despite the lack of cleaning, we really enjoyed the location and our stay at HHI. Evian had everything we wanted except for a heated pool. We are tennis players and loved the accessibility of the tennis courts. Courts were never full so slew had no trouble hopping on whenever we wanted. Neighbors were all friendly and we loved being able to take our dog along for our vacation as a family. We would definitely stay again.
